You're not bothering me.
You're not going to say the wrong thing.
You're not a burden.
Reaching out takes courage — and I'm here to make this feel easier.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating — especially if you've never reached out before.
You don't have to have the "right" words or a perfect explanation for why you're here.
Your message can be one sentence. I'll help with the rest.
"Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light."
~ Brené Brown
How to Reach Out (and what to say)
Reaching out is often the hardest part — especially if you're anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin.
Here's the truth:
You don't need a script.
You don't need a long story.
You don't need to explain everything perfectly.
A simple message is enough.
You can copy/paste one of these if it helps:
"Hi, I'm looking for therapy and would like to learn more."
"I think I need support but I'm not sure where to start."
"I don't know how to describe what I'm feeling, but I would like support."
"I'd like to get help for my teen."
"I'm reaching out about my teen and would love guidance on next steps."
"I'm struggling and I don't want to do this alone anymore."
"Can we talk about what therapy might look like?"
Whatever you send, I'll guide you through the next steps gently and clearly.
If You're a Teen or Young Adult
It's okay if reaching out feels scary.
You're not expected to know exactly what you need — that's what therapy is for.
You don't have to try to sound older, smarter, calmer, or more put-together than you feel.
Just show up as you are.
Whether you're dealing with:
friendship stress
identity exploration
burnout
…you are welcome here.
You don't have to prepare anything ahead of time — just show up as you are. I'll meet you with warmth, honesty, and zero judgment.
If You're a Parent Reaching Out for Your Teen
I know it can feel overwhelming when your child is struggling and you're not sure how to help.
You don't have to figure this out alone.
I specialize in supporting teens and young adults through anxiety, depression, overwhelm, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. When you reach out, you're not expected to have all the answers — just share what you can.
Here are a few things that are helpful to include:
your teen's age
what you're noticing (changes in mood, stress, motivation, behavior, or school)
what you're hoping therapy can support
any questions you have about the process or what to expect
After you send a message, I'll walk you through next steps so we can determine whether I'm the right fit for your teen.
While I don't offer traditional family therapy, I do include parents in sessions when appropriate (with your child's consent) — and I support you in understanding, responding to, and communicating with your child in ways that feel grounded and effective.
Your teen's privacy matters. I always explain how information is shared, what your child is comfortable with, and how we can work together to support their growth.
